WebP preserves transparency and uses quality adjustment. AVIF is available only if this browser can encode and decode it. PNG is lossless at the chosen dimensions; reaching a target may require smaller dimensions. JPEG fills transparency with your chosen background.
AVIF encoding is unavailable in this browser.
How image compressor works
JPEG and WebP quality controls use lossy encoding. PNG encoding is lossless and ignores quality. Some files grow after re-encoding; compare the actual sizes.
Try WebP at 80% quality for a photograph. Keep PNG or WebP when you need transparency.
