FREE ONLINE TOOLGood to know.
Simple tools deserve simple answers.
Are these tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on this site works without payment or registration.
Are my images or PDFs uploaded?
No. Our file tools use browser APIs and locally served libraries. Your files are processed on your device and are not sent to a processing service.
Can I compress an image to an exact KB size?
The tool searches quality settings and reduces dimensions when necessary. It reports actual bytes and whether your target was reached, rather than promising an exact size. KB means 1,000 bytes and MB means 1,000,000 bytes.
Can I use the tools on my phone?
Yes, in a current browser. Processing limits help protect device memory; large files may still be too demanding for some phones.
Will compressing a file always make it smaller?
No. Some files are already well optimized. Check the original and output sizes, and inspect the quality before replacing your original.
